Product Description

ARIKON 2015 Newest Smoke Alarm with Photoelectric Sensor.Based on the current techonoly and design, ARIKON upgraded the features and re-design the shape of smoke alarm. It has unique features and stability compared to normal smoke alarms.


How to Install the Smoke Detector?

1.Put the battery into battery box (NOTE: THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TERMINALS OF THE BATTERY SHOULD PUT IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION), the detector comes into operating state.Indicating LED flashes once per 40 seconds,once per 1 second at alarm state.

2.Select proper place (normally mounted on the center of the ceiling), fix the mounting base, then put the detector into the base and turn it.


How to Test the Smoke Detector?

Step One: Press the test button for 5 seconds,the detector will give out sound.

Step Two: Inhaling a puff of smoke/cigarette and blow out it towards the smoke sensor. Repeat this step several times untill the red light flashes, then the detector will beep loudly to alarm.

(NOTE: The testing must be done under a relatively closed environment. If the environment is widely open, the smoke will soon disappear in the air and can not reach the concentration to trigger the alarm.)
